Windows 10 may be the last Windows OS and that means there won't be a Windows 11, according to a post on the official Microsoft Windows' Forum: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/there-is-no-windows-11/b8c7f3f0-54eb-41b7-89a1-0526dd24508e
"There is no longer anything call Service Pack and there is no plan to release any successor to Windows 10 like what is going around with name Windows 11. Windows 10 is the latest version of Windows and there are regular updates and new concept called release build." - Cyber_Defend_Team
Apple has done the same with Mac OS some time ago; there was System 7, then Mac OS 8, Mac OS 9, and finally OS X. There will be no Mac OS 11 and as far as Windows 10X goes, it's an entirely different story. It is NOT a successor to Windows 10, but it is a special version of Windows for special devices.
It is safe to say Microsoft has no plan on releasing a new OS and will instead focus on releasing regular updates and release builds. I personally think this is a step in the right direction. What are your thoughts on it?
